Filch It Friday: Yipee!

Anybody notice I disappeared after one, brief, attempt to blog while my Mother was here?

On second thought, don’t answer that.

Anyway, I did what I always do when life gets just a weensy bit crazy.  I fell completely off the blog planet.  I spent some time paying attention to the sparkles on a golf ball and wading through poppies that shimmered on the hills like a spray of golden orange sequins.

In short, I went offline.  Like Rachel.

I normally feel very guilty when I fall off the blogging wagon.  But I think Rachel is right.  It is necessary – important even – to disconnect.

But it is always hard for me to get back on the blogging wagon.  Even when I’m ready. So I’m thankful for Filch It Friday.  Because it is easy for me to find inspiration in the real world.  In the blog world, not so much.

Sometimes I just have to steal my way back in.

  1. I noticed… but I fell off too.
There seems to be an awful lot of things just piling up… no time to blog.
But I’m extending my hand to you, my dear friend, so you might hop back on the wagon with me.

  2. This time of year challenges all bloggers…sunshine, birds singing the lure of the open road with the windows down and the music blaring. It’s hard to sit in front of a computer!
